Terms of use

These terms cover the Bin Buddy app and this website. Using Bin Buddy means you accept them.

The service

Bin Buddy is a guide to sorting and putting out household waste in South Korea. It is an independent guide, not a government service.

Age

You must be at least 13 years old to use Bin Buddy.

Purchases

Purchases are made through Apple under the App Store's terms, and Apple handles refunds. Apple's standard license agreement for apps applies alongside these terms.

Guidance only

Rules differ between districts and change over time, and a scan can be wrong. Your district's and your building's rules come first, and you are responsible for how you dispose of things, including any fines.

No warranty

Bin Buddy is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Ownership

The app, its guide, its art and Buddy belong to Bin Buddy's maker. District data comes from the Korean government's public dataset on data.go.kr, under its terms.

Changes

We may change the app or these terms. The date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use Bin Buddy means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.
