1. Service Description

Bin Buddy provides AI-powered recycling classification. You take a photo of trash, and our AI suggests how to dispose of it properly. The service is free to use, with an optional paid subscription ("Pro") for additional features.

2. Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use this app. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. Paid Subscriptions

Bin Buddy Pro subscriptions are available through Apple's In-App Purchase. When you subscribe:

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Subscriptions can be managed in your Apple ID account settings after purchase
Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

4. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Important:

Bin Buddy provides informational guidance only. Our AI's classification suggestions may not be 100% accurate, and local regulations change frequently. We are not responsible for any fines, penalties, or other consequences resulting from improper waste disposal. The final decision on how to dispose of items is always your responsibility.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

5. Your Content

You retain all rights to the images you scan. We don't claim ownership of your photos. As stated in our Privacy Policy, scanned images are deleted immediately after processing and are not stored.

6. Intellectual Property

The Bin Buddy app, brand, logo, and content are our property. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.

7. Service Changes

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue the app at any time. We'll try to give notice for significant changes through in-app notifications or our website.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. When we do, we'll post the new terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the app after changes means you accept the new terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.

10. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute, please contact us first at hello@koreatrash.com to try to resolve it informally. Any disputes not resolved informally will be settled through binding arbitration under the laws of Florida.
