Scan isn't showing
Scanning needs Apple Intelligence on iPhone 15 Pro or newer. Turn it on in the iPhone's Settings, under Apple Intelligence & Siri. On other iPhones, use Search: every item in the guide is there.
Restore my purchase
In Bin Buddy, open Settings and tap Restore purchases. Purchases belong to your Apple Account, and Family Sharing covers your household.
My district or area is wrong
In Bin Buddy, open Settings and tap My district. Pick your neighborhood under Your area, or tap Choose district if you moved.
Reminders don't arrive
Turn on Trash night reminders in Bin Buddy's Settings, and allow notifications for Bin Buddy in the iPhone's Settings.
The pickup times look wrong
Times come from the national household waste dataset that each district publishes. Your building's own rules come first. Email us the district and we'll check the data.
Add the widget
Touch and hold the Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and choose Bin Buddy.
